Life on the Slope

I live in Sunnyslope (this is debatable on technical points) and this is the Home Depot that I go to.The man in the cowboy hat is not me. He's the guy who almost backed into me with the truck in the lower left hand corner while I was trying to take an earlier picture. No one ever said that blogging wasn't dangerous.

This person lives in Sunnyslope, too. I'm just not sure where he bought his giant lizard. I haven't seen them at Home Depot. Maybe at Lowes...

I'm not sure that monstrosity could come from anywhere but outer space (the lizard that is. Not the man in the conwboy hat.)

ok Magister, this has nothing to do with lizards or cowboy hats, but do you know a fellow named Rob who lives in Austin? He's one of my sister's friends and she says that he knows you...

Rob in Austin, huh? What's this guy's last name? And does he claim that I owe him any money?

First of all, Yes. He says you owe him most of your livelihood. Break out the asparagus, Magister--you might need it. Second of all, I had him conufused with another fellow who does live in Texas but whose name is not Rob. Rob actually lives here. I've no clue as to a last name, but I can ask.

So who is it that claims to know his Hansoniusness? Is it the guy in Texas or the Rob who lives here? The only Rob I know here is a chap named Drapeau (sp.?) and he used to work at Brophy.

The plot thickens.

("his Hansoniusness"--I like it ^_^)
Actually, the plot clears. It's the Rob HERE who I was talking about (or, at least, who I meant to be talking about) and now that you mention it, I recall my sister mentioning something about Brophy. It's just funny, that some random fellow my sister knows, knows you. Small world, no?

Supposing as a hypothesis that the Rob your sister knows is Rob Drapeau (sp?), then the questions becomes, "How does your sister know this guy?"
